In the following series of 4 paintings, marks made with intention and marks made accidentally, have been explored in relationship to each other through referencing computer binary code as a central theme. Using methods of paint applicationinspired by Jackson Pollock´s action painting. I have also been inspired by the abstract works completed on paper of Ian Fairweather and Penny Bovell´s mark making in her work titled In Celebration II. |
